Not if in so doing it means another bitter battle against injustice. Therein my dilemma. The world looks different to the young. That's why society needs their enthusiasm - and their blessed and wise ignorance too. Ignorance is what allows human beings to propose radical change. Those of us who've been through it before, have suffered the inertia of the old at heart, would never contemplate wanting to turn things upside down again.

Compulsory voting on pain of death, or just asking people to take an interest in the goings on around them?
You know I have a politics degree so in ways I'm having a "political career" or whatever now, I expect to hear that alot. But it is only now that I've understood the importance/potential of it for doing good things.
